Mood: Extremely excited
Weather: Kinda cold in HK
I sincerely hope that he’s well and shall keep in touch with us. Its been 20 years he’d been working in GfK. 20 years back, I just started my schooldays and you can imagine how long have that been when now I’m almost going thru my late twenties. Sigh~~
Right, back to the trip. The trip was scheduled on the 07th November 2010 to the 11th November 2010. Went for the passport processing that only took me about 2 hours nowadays. Yes, Malaysia had the most efficient service of passport applications I think. Its my first time travelling out the country so of coz its anxious and going to be an exciting ones though its a biz trip. With me along the trip were Yvonne, Ming Fong, Robert Bono, Stanley, Huey Tin and not to forget Michael which was traveling from Singapore to HK.
When I posted most my pics in FB, frens were commenting as though it was another eating trip like I usually had most time. Most ppl knows that I’m a small eater but likes to blog and take pictures of all the food. Well, of coz it was an official training and meeting trips but still we need to feed right? And so, that is why we had a lot of nice foods pictures.
The hotel that we stayed in was The Mira Hotel..and its a very nice hotel with good services. Its located at Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) so its kinda convenience travel to anywhere. Well, taxis were everywhere like the whole city is all crowded with taxis and ppls. Taxis fare were quite high in HK. We travelled via taxis everywhere, from hotel to our HK office in Kowloon bay is about HKD80.
Its going to be a long long stories if I were to blog about all the details of the places we went, foods we had and funny things we encounter along the trip. And I know I’m that kind of long-winded stories teller. So to cut it short, I’ll just briefly go through the visits of places so it probably wont bored my readers of my blog later.
So right after out from airport we went straight to hotel for check-in. Then shortly we went around the area and had a quick lunch before heading to the Arena of Stars where we took pictures of the Bruce Lee statue and some of the hand print of stars (actor/actress/singer) on the floor along the walkway. We then went to the places where there is a lot of stalls selling many stuff just like our Chinatown or better known as Petaling Street. They called it “Nu Ren Jie” and also went to ” Sport Shoes Road a.k.a “Po Hai Kai”.
So while in the GfK HK office, training and meetings went on as usual. Nothing much but telling you this, the sunset view from the office’s balcony was fantastic. And the sun sets around 5pm which is very much different from here in MY. GfK HK’s office were nice and comfy. We’d been to many places with great foods for lunch and dinner. That is also another reason why there are more foods photos than ppls.
And guess wat, I’m annoying everyone of them especially in times when they are hungry and I was like “Eerm..sorry. Wait, let me take a pic of the food first ya”. Lolx

This are some dim sums we had on our first day of lunch at a restaurant near the office. (Walking distance) Full of patrons just like in the movie but frankly, the dim sum were good.

And these are random foods from few places including hot pot, breakie at chinese style cafe (those that really stucked their fingers serving the tea!)

All pics are in random order and as you can see this was a backdated post again. I’ve been leaving my blog on hiatus status from quite sometime. Forgive me will ya as it always full of food pic that might have your saliva dropping from your mouth every now and then. And hope that I’ll be able to keep updating my post from time to time.
Last but not least, I do kinda like HK cept for some unfriendly ppl I’ve met while I was there.

aahh finally i see a new post! keep it up
thanks for the encouragement dear. you're the best!
